After recovering, she played as a striker at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill California in which she received an associate's degree in fine arts. She received Junior College All-American awards and later transferred to Arizona State University. Unfortunately she was self-conscious and decided to give up soccer. The next place she went to was California State University Fullerton. After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts qualification in business administration with a minor human resources, she moved to Los Angeles. After her studies, she moved to Los Angeles where she began a professional career in modelling, promotion work and acting. That's when she stumbled upon a job vacancy for the W.W.E. Her performance was impressive to the talent scouts, and was offered an opportunity to test for a period of four weeks after the call was discovered by mistake. Then she moved to Orlando, Florida. There she began her training in The Performance Center of the company. In May 2013 she joined"Total Divas" W.W.E Reality T.V. show. Her hair was dyed red, and took on her ring's name Eva Marie. W.W.E. went through many ups and downs. In 2017, she decided to end her agreement with W.W.E. anymore.
